Craig appreciates a wide variety of music and believes that certain styles suit certain songs and that there is no point trying to force them to fit otherwise.
He often writes lyrics as reflections on personal events and uses his emotions as muses for his works. He finds frustration, fear and disillusionment are just as inspirational as love and the good times are.
His songs are a journal of his inner most thoughts and feelings and are a way of “keeping sane”. When writing he finds that songs are written one of two ways; either playing around on the piano developing melodies or by a random flash of inspiration that pops into his head such as a word or sentence that creates a theme for a song.
Some times the inspired moments don’t actually make it to becoming a full song for Craig, but some do and those great moments are what you will find in his newest work “Sometimes”.
In a rare rock and roll moment while getting his hair cut, he ran into Michael Zammit of Airwaves studio. Michael brought Craig out of the dark ages and into the wonderful world of 20th century musical technology, where he learned what could really be achieved.
Craig found Michael to be an inspiration and it wasn’t long before they commenced recording together. With Craig on vocals, keyboard and harmonica and Michael Zammit on drums, guitar and bass, they completed “Sometimes”. This 12 track, two disc CD set of relaxing tunes are all written by Craig and are originally composed on the Piano.
